Cheesy Italian Shells with Italian Sausage

  • 16 oz medium pasta shells
  • 12 oz Coleman Chicken Sausage links, cut into 1/2" slices
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon fennel seed
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning 
  • 14.5 oz can diced tomatoes
  • 14 oz tomato sauce
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 cup parmesan


In a large, deep skillet or pot, add the shells, sausage slices, garlic, fennel seed, Italian seasoning, tomatoes, sauce, water, and milk. Stir to combine.

Turn the heat to medium and bring to a simmer. Cover, reduce heat to medium low.

Simmer for 15-20 minutes until pasta is al dente.

Stir parmesan into pasta until melted, adding additional milk if necessary. Serve hot.
