  • 2 large ripe green-skinned avocados pitted and scooped out
  • 1/2 large tomato seeded and chopped
  • 1 jalapeƱo chopped and seeded (or unseeded if you really want it to have some kick!)
  • 1/4 c chopped cilantro
  • 1 lime juiced
  • ~1 tsp garlic salt or to taste
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper or to taste
  • Freshly ground black pepper


  • In a large bowl, coarsely mash the avocado. Add in cilantro, tomato, jalepeno and lime juice. Mix in seasonings according to taste. Serve with tortilla chips.
  • To store: Cover with plastic wrap, pressing it against the surface of the dip to prevent browning.
