Ingredients

  • 1 brisket flat cut in half, roughly 3-5 pounds
  • 1 cup beef broth or stock
  • 2 14 oz cans cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 envelope onion soup mix
  • 1 packet brown gravy mix

Instructions

  • Pour 1 cup beef stock or broth into the pressure cooker inner pot, then place the trivet in the pot.
  • Add one piece of brisket then top with half of condensed soup and half of onion soup mix. Repeat with remaining piece of brisket, soup and mix.
  • Lock lid in place and set valve to SEAL. Set pressure cooker for 50 minutes at high pressure. Allow to naturally release for 10-15 minutes, then quick release remaining pressure.
  • Use trivet to remove meat from pot; set aside while you prepare gravy.
  • Press KEEP WARM/CANCEL, then SAUTE. Briskly whisk in the brown gravy packet and bring to a simmer until thickened.
  • Slice brisket against the grain and serve with gravy.
